Roy Danner, Jr. of Allentown, PA won a full moon marathon 20-lap main event Friday night at Linda’s Speedway. Danner started outside the front row and jumped to the lead on the opening lap and was never headed. New point leader Tim Henry applied pressure over the entire distance, but had to settle for second over polesitter Paul Rochelle, Tim Tomson, and Jim Baker. Modified stock car veteran Tom Mayberry ran sixth as Randy Kissinger, Justin Grim, Paul McCollum, and rookie John Gray completed the top ten in an event plagued by a number of multi-car tangles and a turn three rollover by John Schirk.

Heat races for the 25-car field were won by Kissinger, Mayberry, and Schirk.
